You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Design and Technology examinations supporting coursework development and practical assessment work.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Design and Technology across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Deliver practical and theory-based lessons
Support students in developing design and manufacturing skills
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Design and Technology assessments
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure safe working practices
Assess student work and provide structured feedback
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Desirable
Experience teaching GCSE or A-Level Design and Technology
Specialism in product design resistant materials or engineering
Experience preparing students for coursework and practical assessments
