Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataStage Developer to design develop and maintain scalable ETL solutions for enterprise data integration projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IBM DataStage SQL data warehousing concepts and end-to-end ETL development within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test and deploy ETL jobs using IBM DataStage.
• Develop data extraction transformation and loading processes from multiple source systems.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance scalability and reliability.
• Work closely with business analysts data architects and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Perform data mapping data validation and reconciliation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DataStage job failures and performance issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation job schedules and support procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and follow ETL best practices.
• Support production deployments and provide post-production support.
• Work with databases such as Oracle SQL Server DB2 or Teradata.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience in IBM DataStage development.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/Data Integration projects.
• Experience with DataStage Designer Director Administrator and Manager.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infosphere DataStage PX.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M.
• Familiarity with Hadoop Spark or Big Data technologies.
• Banking healthcare or retail domain experience is a plus.
• Nice to Have
• IBM DataStage certification.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Python or automation scripting.
