Job Title: Communications Specialist - Senior

Location: Remote within Canada (Occasional onsite in Alberta)

Work Hours: 8:15 AM 4:30 PM (Alberta Time) Monday Friday


Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Communications & Training Specialist to design and deliver high-quality learning materials supporting the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS). This role focuses on translating business processes and system functionality into clear practical training content while ensuring users are confident and consistent in their use of the system.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain training materials including job aids guides presentations and scenario-based learning tools

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy of content

Identify performance gaps and recommend targeted training solutions

Support design and delivery of virtual training sessions (Teams)

Assist with training coordination facilitation and post-session follow-ups

Continuously improve training materials based on feedback and system updates

Organize and manage training repositories for easy access and usability


Requirements:

Bachelors degree or diploma with relevant training experience

5 years of experience creating training materials and technical documentation

5 years delivering virtual training sessions using tools such as Microsoft Teams

5 years managing multiple initiatives with tight timelines


Nice to Have:

Experience in communications presentations and change management

Experience documenting business processes and user requirements

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Experience using feedback and analytics to improve training content


Additional Details:

Primarily remote role; occasional onsite meetings in Alberta may be required

Candidate must be based in Canada
