Job Summary

Job Title: Developer/Programmer- Expert (Remote)

Location: Raleigh NC

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Job Description:

Provide direct technical support for the Client mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS).
The candidate will participate in requirements design development testing implementation and maintenance support for the Client mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS)
Will work closely with other support team members to determine the best approach to resolve issues as part of day-to-day support of legacy system. Issue resolution will often require software changes and testing.
Will work closely with others as a team member in design development and testing of legislative and operational changes to legacy system.

Skills:

Experience developing/maintaining mainframe-based tax management systems using COBOL including Install/1 system management	Required	10	Years
Development experience with COBOL Easytrieve MVS JCL CICS SQL and DB2 in a mainframe environment	Required	10	Years
Experience in Technical and Functional Requirements documentation	Required	5	Years
Extensive knowledge of techniques and methodologies relating to software quality assurance and testing through the full systems development lifecycle.	Required
Databases: VSAM DB2 IMS	Required
Environment: TSO/ISPF z/OS MVS IMS Windows	Required
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging mainframe application.	Required
