Looking for a Data Center Technician with 1 2 years of experience to support rack & stack cabling hardware installation and basic troubleshooting. The role involves handling servers switches and network components ensuring proper installation connectivity and compliance with data center standards.
Looking for a Data Center Technician with 1 2 years of experience to support rack & stack cabling hardware installation and basic troubleshooting. The role involves handling servers switches and network components ensuring proper installation connectivity and compliance with data center standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rack & stack of servers switches and storage devices
- Handle fiber & Ethernet cabling labeling and cable management
- Install relocate and decommission hardware
- Conduct smoke testing and hardware validation
- Provide L1 support (server network connectivity issues)
- Act as remote hands (power cycling cable reseating console access)
- Maintain inventory asset tracking and audit records
- Monitor alerts and update tickets using ITSM tools.
Required Skills:
- Basic networking (IP switching routing concepts)
- Server hardware knowledge (NIC memory drives)
- Fiber & Ethernet cabling
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
- Console tools (SSH PuTTY)
