Job Summary
Workday Functional Finance Consultant
Remote

Workday Finance Certification Mandatory.
A Workday Functional Finance Consultant is responsible for implementing configuring and supporting Workday Financial Management solutions while aligning business processes with system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for finance processes (GL AP AR FA Expenses)
- Configure Workday Financial modules based on client needs
- Participate in end-to-end Workday implementations and/or support projects
- Design and document business processes and system workflows
- Conduct testing (Unit Testing UAT) and support issue resolution
- Provide post-go-live support and enhancements
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and reporting
- Train end users and create functional documentation
Core Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Workday Financials modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Management
- Expenses
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Experience in business process configuration (BPs)
- Workday reporting knowledge (basic to intermediate)
- Good stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Workday implementation/support projects
- Certifications in Workday Financial Management (optional but valuable)
- Prior ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage
