JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspection - DEFENSE
LOCATION: New Orleans LA
PAY RATE: $37.46/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

• Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods operations setups and prescribed specifications

• Perform visual inspections of electronic units subsystems electromechanical assemblies mechanical units and subassemblies

• Identify structural flaws internal defects missing welds and other quality concerns

• Use measuring devices and inspection tools including scales micrometers and torque tools

• Accept reject or recommend rework for defective or malfunctioning units and systems

• Work from blueprints diagrams customer specifications inspection instructions and checklists

• Support statistical process control and other quality control procedures as required

• Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Inspection experience using scales micrometers torque tools and related inspection equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams and technical instructions

• Experience with SAP and/or VECAMS preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
