Job Summary
The Patient Coordinator will serve as the primary contact and coordinator for international patients receiving care. This role involves managing the full referral and treatment coordination process including medical records review appointment scheduling travel coordination financial clearance support patient orientation and post-care follow-up.
The position requires strong cross-cultural communication skills professionalism and the ability to provide a high level of personalized support to patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Healthcare Administration International Relations or related field (Required)
- 40 hours of professional medical interpreter training language proficiency assessment or national certification (if interpretation is part of the role)
- Medical Interpretation Certification Arabic (Required)
- 3 5 years of experience in:
- Patient services environment
- Tertiary care medical center or physician office
- Healthcare setting public relations or luxury hospitality industry

- Fluency in English and Arabic (Verbal & Written)
- Strong communication presentation and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the entire patient referral and treatment process
- Review medical service requests and identify appropriate physicians
- Serve as liaison between hospital departments physicians and international patients
- Coordinate physician appointments and treatment schedules
- Assist with travel arrangements hotel bookings and transportation
- Support patient registration and financial clearance processes
- Accompany patients to appointments and provide ongoing support during visits
- Provide real-time Arabic interpretation during medical appointments and hospital services
- Maintain accurate patient records in the International Patient Record System (IPRS)
- Investigate and resolve patient concerns and complaints
- Manage post-discharge follow-up and communication
- Provide updates to embassies insurance companies and financial guarantors
- Participate in inpatient huddles and patient-related communications
- Assist leadership with international marketing and presentation activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
