Job Summary
Position: Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta GA / Nashville TN
Duration: Long term contract
Note: Looking for Permanent / Visa independent consultants
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst who can turn complex data into meaningful insights telling compelling stories through data visualizations that drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using SQL to uncover trends patterns and actionable insights
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI
- Present data findings through compelling visual storytelling using charts graphs and other visuals
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Monitor key business metrics and proactively flag anomalies or opportunities
- Document analytical processes and maintain data integrity across reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction transformation and analysis
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboard development
- Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas Matplotlib or Seaborn
- Experience working in Merger & Acquisition (M&A) environments
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques
- Experience working in Agile environments
