Job Summary:

Were looking for a Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Tableau expertise to build and optimize data pipelines models and dashboards. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end data flow from ingestion to visualization and enable data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake
Build and optimize Snowflake data models tables views and stored procedures
Implement data ingestion from various sources: APIs databases flat files cloud apps
Develop performance-tuned SQL and Snowflake features: Streams Tasks Snowpipe Time Travel
Create interactive dashboards reports and self-service analytics in Tableau
Optimize Tableau data sources extracts and workbook performance
Implement data quality validation and monitoring frameworks
Collaborate with analysts data scientists and business users on data requirements
Manage access control security and governance in Snowflake and Tableau
Document data architecture lineage and technical specifications

Required Skills:

10 years of data engineering experience with 2 years in Snowflake
Strong expertise in:
- Snowflake: SQL data modeling clustering warehouses resource monitors
- ETL/ELT tools: dbt Matillion Informatica Airflow or Python
- Tableau Desktop & Server/Cloud: dashboards LOD expressions data blending parameters
- SQL and data warehousing concepts: star/snowflake schema SCDs
- Python for data processing: Pandas PySpark
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS Azure or GCP
Understanding of data governance RBAC and performance tuning
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

SnowPro Core Certification
Tableau Desktop Certified Associate/Professional
Experience with streaming: Kafka Kinesis Spark Streaming
Knowledge of CI/CD for data: Git dbt Cloud Terraform
Exposure to ML/BI tools: Sigma Looker Power BI
