Job Summary
Key responsibilities of a Sr QAs:
Creating detailed test cases to cover various functionalities and scenarios of the software application.
Performing manual or automated tests based on designed test cases and documenting results.
Identifying and reporting bugs found during testing including clear descriptions screenshots and steps to reproduce.
Retesting existing features after code changes to ensure new functionalities havent introduced regressions.
Working closely with development teams to understand requirements communicate identified issues and prioritize bug fixes.
Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements to ensure thorough test coverage.
Developing comprehensive test plans outlining testing strategies scope and timelines.
Evaluating software performance under different load conditions to identify bottlenecks.
Facilitating testing with end-users to validate system functionality meets their expectations.
Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to streamline the testing process.
Tracking and analyzing testing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Skills required for a QA engineer:
Strong analytical problem-solving and E2E ownership skills
Solid understanding of health care insurance - members benefits accums etc.
Excellent attention to detail
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Proficiency in testing methodologies (black-box white-box etc.)
Ability to write clear and concise test documentation
Knowledge of programming languages (for automation testing)
Effective communication skills to collaborate with developers and stakeholders
