Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create garment patterns based on design sketches technical drawings measurement charts and product specifications.
- Interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate production patterns for woven and knit garments.
- Collaborate closely with Designers to ensure patterns align with approved designs styling details and product requirements.
- Prepare pattern grading and size specifications for different garment sizes.
- Modify and refine patterns based on sample fittings prototype evaluations and production feedback.
- Support sample development and prototype creation to verify fit functionality and construction accuracy.
- Coordinate with production and sample development teams to ensure proper implementation of patterns during manufacturing.
- Ensure all patterns are technically feasible for production and compatible with manufacturing capabilities.
- Maintain organized pattern documentation technical files measurement charts and revision records.
- Ensure garment construction details meet company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Assist in resolving fit sizing and construction issues during product development and production stages.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to garment fitting construction efficiency and production optimization.
- Adhere to company quality safety and production standards at all times.
- Participate in KPI reviews performance evaluations and development planning activities within the department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design Textile Engineering Pattern Making or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in pattern making within textile garment or uniform manufacturing industries.
- Experience working with both woven and knit garments is required.
- Experience in industrial pattern development and garment construction is preferred.
