What Youll Do
As a Scheduling Representative you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering calls to our central scheduling line with warmth professionalism and efficiency
- Schedule reschedule and cancel appointments while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as a primary contact for Spanish-speaking clients providing clear and supportive communication
- Coordinate closely with clinical and medical staff to understand scheduling needs preferences and waitlists
- Communicate essential appointment details and next steps to clients
- Update and manage appointment changes including those made through automated systems
- Utilize DBHs electronic medical record (EMR) system while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and privacy standards
- Screen calls route messages appropriately and provide helpful information to clients and team members
- Support additional administrative tasks as needed to meet organizational needs

Schedule
- Monday Thursday: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $18.25 per hour
- Bilingual Stipend: $28.85 per pay period (based on Spanish proficiency assessment upon hire)
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- A compassionate respectful and professional approach when working with clients and families
- Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain positive relationships
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required; proficiency assessment required)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with computers including typing and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a medical office or familiarity with medical terminology
- Comfort using standard office equipment (phones printers fax machines payment systems)

DBH Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening Disclaimer
Davis Behavioral Health is a drug-free workplace and requires all employees to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws including no use of medical marijuana.
Further all employees at DBH must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check as part of DBHs licensing agreement with the State of Utah. Failure to pass either screening will result in the termination of any job offer submitted and/or employment for any individual who has started employment while the criminal background screening is in process. Pending and/or open charges will likely impact a candidates ability to pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
