Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Wed Thu Fri)
On-Call: Approximately 2 times per month
Floating: Required between nearby locations as needed

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise patient care skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures to produce high-quality cross-sectional images
• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Administer IV contrast and ensure patient safety during procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
• Follow established imaging protocols and exercise professional judgment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide excellent patient care using AIDET communication principles
• Assist with general radiologic procedures as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety infection control and regulatory standards

Equipment & Work Environment:

• Advanced CT imaging equipment including high-performance scanners
• Fast-paced imaging department with a strong focus on quality and patient care
• Collaboration with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

• ARRT Registered Technologist with CT certification R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) required
• Prior CT experience required
• Competency in IV contrast administration required
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Flexibility to float between nearby facilities as needed
