About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes including variance analysis and financial commentary
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for senior leadership including P&L headcount and KPI reporting
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning scenario analysis and strategic investment decisions
• Partner with department leaders to track spending against budget and identify financial risks and opportunities
• Support longrange financial planning and assess the financial impact of key business initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of materials for the board investors and lenders
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve standardize and automate financial reporting processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field
• 12 years of experience in FP&A corporate finance investment banking consulting or a related analytical role
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to nonfinance stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadlinedriven environment

Preferred Tools & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling formulas data analysis)
• Experience with financial planning and forecasting systems (e.g. Vena Adaptive Anaplan)
• Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools (Power BI Tableau)
• Exposure to board investor or lender reporting
• CPA CFA or MBA (preferred but not required)

Salary Range

Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors including location experience and job-related skills.

The salary range for this role is $70000.00 to $90000.00.
