The role includes both independent case handling and collaboration depending on experience level.
Responsibilities:
- Manage family law cases from inception through resolution
- Prepare motions briefs and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research on complex issues
- Appear in court for hearings and trials (in person and remotely)
- Maintain consistent client and third-party communication
- Participate in regular case reviews
- Enter detailed client notes and billable time
- Collaborate with support staff to move cases efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Family law experience required
- Approximately 412 years of relevant experience depending on level
- Demonstrated evidentiary hearing and trial experience
Compensation:
- Mid-Level: $125000 $165000 base salary
- Senior: $165000 $200000 base salary
- Annual bonus based on firm performance
- 10% origination bonus
- Target of approximately 1500 billable hours annually
