Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in todays complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance systems to strategy business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology finance data analytics regulatory requirements data security and privacy internal audit and the third parties our clients rely on to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

We are looking for motivated and curious Polytechnic students to join PwCs Cyber Security Audit team as interns for a period of 6 months or 1 year. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cyber security audit processes risk assessment and technology-driven improvement initiatives within a professional services environment.

In addition to supporting the teams day-to-day audit and cyber-related activities interns will alsohave the opportunity toexplore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation tools can be used to improve productivity streamline workflows and enhance the quality of our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in performing cyber security audit and risk assessment activities

  • Assistin documenting audit procedures findings and recommendations

  • Help review IT systems processes and controls toidentifygaps or areas for improvement

  • Conduct research on cyber security trends risks frameworks and best practices

  • Assistwith data gathering analysis and preparation of audit working papers and reports

  • Explore opportunities to useAI toolsand automation to improve internal work processes

  • Help develop simple AI-enabled solutions scripts dashboards or workflow improvements to reduce manual effort

  • Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency reporting quality and knowledge sharing

  • Work closely with team members on special projects related to cyber security audit innovation and process transformation

We are looking for students who are:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Cyber Security Information Technology Information Security Computer Science or related disciplines

  • Interested in cyber security IT audit risk compliance and governance

  • Curious about howAI and automationcan be applied in a business or audit environment

  • Analytical detail-oriented and willing to learn

  • Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment

  • Proactive resourceful and open to taking initiative

Preferred Skills / Bonus Points(Students with any of the following will have an added advantage):

  • Basic understanding of cyber security concepts such as access controls vulnerability management logging or incident response

  • Familiarity with audit risk or compliance concepts

  • Basic coding or scripting skills (e.g. Python SQL PowerShell VBA or similar)

  • Experience using AI tools prompt engineering automation platforms or low-code/no-code tools

  • Interest in process improvement and digital innovation
