What the job does:

This role is responsible for supporting and assisting the Commercial teams in the management of the Hourglass Cosmetics across the UK & EMEA. The successful candidate will help to drive the businesses across stores and online whilst also liaising with retailers to deliver exciting launches and activations maintain a strong brand position within the market and support the brands continued dynamic growth.

Role Accountabilities:

Sales reporting and analysis

  • Prepareand collate weekly sales reports gathering and sharing key retail context categoryinformationand individual store performance detail toidentifyretail opportunities
  • Support the Commercial Manager with core product franchise and NPD performance analysis (MOBs) and reportingin order todrive the business forward
  • Keep abreast of retail and sales trendsandactivity reporting back tothe CommercialManager tomaximiseopportunities across retailers.
  • SupportCommercialteamwith presentations for internal and external meetings including bi-annual Strategy Meetingspresentations and set-up.

TradeMarketing

  • Owntimelysell in of all new product launches re-promotes and brand initiatives including the upload of master data into retailer portals and preparation of new line forms.
  • Work closely withinternaldepartments andretailpartners to plan andfacilitatethe successful launch of all NPD throughout theyear.
  • Primary pointof contact for all assetandproduct informationrequestsfrom retailers.
  • Sampleandcollateralsend outs forallretailer needs andmarketing activationsor events.
  • Ensurecontinuousandaccurateupdates ofregionaltradetrackersandcalendars.
  • Create and manageactivity and eventfeedback to capture salesdetailand share resultswithwiderinternal teams.
  • Support Commercial Manager with analysis and ROI ofsamplingeventingand retail marketing initiatives. Use this analysis to consult theCommercialManager on the most effective activation and initiatives to direct& shapefuture plans.

Retail

  • Cascade alllaunch andactivationdatestothe field team toensureregional calendar alignment.
  • Monthly store visitswithAreaManagers to gain customer insights and enhance knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly competitor analysis keeping abreast ofproductlaunchesactivationsand trends

Skills Required

  • Previousexperience in commercial sales or retail marketing roles within the beauty or luxury sector
  • Passion for luxury beauty with an understanding of market trends and consumerbehaviour
  • Structured andorganisedbut comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment (we arestill afairly newcompany despite what you might think!)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Impeccableattention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communicator both written and verbal
  • Proactive and action orientated
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
