Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical operations within a Radiation Therapy unit. This role involves assisting physicians and healthcare staff with patient care documentation and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EPIC EMR and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Record vital signs and accurately document patient information in EPIC EMR
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling chart management and patient coordination
• Maintain a clean organized and safe clinical environment
• Ensure compliance with established healthcare protocols and regulations
• Float to other units as needed
• Support overall clinic workflow and enhance patient experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (outpatient setting required)
• Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system (required)
• Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask and manage both clinical and administrative duties
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program

Certifications

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Required
