Job Summary
The Risk Mgmt Representative supports all aspects of the risk management workers compensation and/or insurance programs of FMOLHS by preparing reports of activities within department submitting invoices and reconciling financials for accurate budgetary assignment and any other administrative support needed in the department.
Responsibilities
Financial
- Prepares payment vouchers for departmental invoices.
- Reviews accuracy of financial payments.
- Provides monthly reconciliation of all billing and research discrepancies.
Reporting
- Prepares statistical reports for risk management or workers compensation.
- Prepare summary data for annual workers compensation reports and other state federal agencies or incident reporting.
- Distributes reports to managers department heads and others as required.
Administrative
- Reviews subpoenas and forwards to appropriate parties. Assists with scheduling of depositions and court appearances.
- Monitors departmental projects to ensure timely completion and assists other team members.
- Answers phone takes accurate messages does filing and data entry to assist other team members.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 years in relevant healthcare related
Education: High School
