The Wastewater Service Technician will service septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding area.Company Overview:

PositionOverview:
TheWastewaterService Technicianwill service septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding area.
Essential Duties &Responsibilities:
General knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing including pumps aerators controlpanelsand more.
Provide service and customer support during fieldvisits or dispatches.
Diagnose errors or technical problems anddetermineproper solutions.
Operatevehiclesin asafe manner and use fieldautomationssystems.
Contact and interact with homeownersengineersand contractors.
Explain individual onsite systems and provide training.
Comprehendcustomer requirements and makeappropriate recommendationsand briefings.
Maintain a clean stocked work truck and service area.
Producetimelyand detailed service reports.
Education:
High School GED or equivalentis preferred.
Skills:
General understanding of wastewater treatment systems.
Ability to read an electrical meter to measure OHMS and amperage.
Ability to troubleshoot minor single phase electrical issues.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems in septic tanks and advanced treatment systems.
Ability to use and understand awide range of power tools.
Requirements:
Must have a validClass Edrivers license and pass an MVR.
Class A CDL preferred but not.
Self-motivatedand able to work independently.
Mustbe able to read technical requirementsand follow directions.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
Maintain clean work attire and respectful personal appearance.
Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Abilityto takecontinuing education classes for industry knowledge.
Must adhereto OSHAsafteyregulations.
Physical Requirements:
You mustbe able tolift80-100lbs safely.
Drive up to a150-mileradius in a company vehicle including overnight stays onoccasion.
