Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Attendant to join our team in Dexter this role you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and errands
- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior to supervisors
- Adhere to care plans and follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset but NOT required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate patient and attentive to client needs
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks
