Role Summary

We are seeking aSenior AI Engineerwho can independently design build andoperateAInativesoftware systemsusing theMicrosoft Copilot ecosystemand modernagentic development patterns.

This role is ideal for someone who ishighly autonomous comfortable operating withminimal supervision and capable ofcommunicating clearly with both technical andnontechnicalstakeholders. You will be responsible not only for writing code but for shapinghow software is built usingAIassistedandagentdrivenworkflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and productionizeAIaugmentedand agentic software systems with a strong focus onMicrosoft Copilot suiteacross development and productivity workflows.

UseGitHub Copilotand modernIDEbasedvibe coding approachesto accelerate software delivery whilemaintainingproductiongradequality.

DevelopmultisteptoolusingAI agentsthat can reason plan execute andvalidateoutcomes acrossrealworldsystems.

Applyagentic software development patterns(task decomposition memory orchestration feedback loops guardrails).

Integrate and evaluatemultiple LLM providers includingClaude selecting the right model based on reasoning depth cost latency and safety.

Translate ambiguous business problems intowellstructuredAIdrivensolutionswith clear constraints and measurable outcomes.

Own solutionsendtoend: architecture implementation testing deployment monitoring and iteration.

Produce concise technical documentation and explain design decisions clearly to architects product owners and executives.

Act as atechnical multiplierfor teamssetting standards patterns and best practices forAIassisteddevelopment.

Required Experience & Skills

Core Technical

Seniorlevelsoftware engineering experience (typically8 years) including designing and delivering production systems.

Stronghandsonexperience with theMicrosoft Copilot ecosystem(e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot Copilot Studio developer copilots).

Extensive use ofGitHub Copilotas afirstclassdevelopment toolnot as an experiment but as part of daily engineering workflows.

Practical experience withClaudeand other leading LLMs including prompt design tool use and structured outputs.

Proven experience building oroperatingagentic systems(multistepreasoning autonomous executionhumanintheloop).

Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g. Python TypeScript C#) with solid software design fundamentals.

Experience integrating AI solutions into real systems (APIs data sources enterprise platforms).

Engineering Approach

Demonstrated use ofIDEdrivenAIassistedvibe codingtechniques to move fast without sacrificing clarity safety or maintainability.

Strong understanding of testing strategies and validation forAIassistedcode and agents.

Ability to reason about reliability failure modes security and cost inAIheavysystems.

Autonomy & Communication

Extremelyselfdirectedable to define next steps unblock yourself and make sound technical decisions without constant oversight.

Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills.

Comfortable explaining complex AI concepts inplain concrete languageto senior stakeholders.

Able to challenge assumptions respectfully and propose better alternatives when needed.

Nice to Have

Experience withenterprise security identity governance or Responsible AIconcepts.

Familiarity withCopilot customization plugins or extensions.

Experience coaching teams or setting AI engineering standards.

Background in architecture or technical leadership roles.

Required Qualifications

Education

oBachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical disciplineor equivalent practical experience.

oAdvanced degrees are welcome butnotrequiredifhandsonexperience is strong.

Professional Experience

o8 yearsof professional software engineering experience with direct ownership of production systems.

o3 yearsworkinghandsonwithAIassisteddevelopmentLLMdrivensystems or intelligent automation.

oDemonstrated experienceoperatinginsenior or lead engineer capacity influencing design decisions beyond individual tasks.

AI & Copilot Expertise

oProvenrealworldexperience with theMicrosoft Copilot suite including using Copilot as part of daily engineering and productivity workflows.

oHandsonexperience withGitHub Copilotused systematically for design coding refactoring testing and documentationnot occasional usage.

oPractical experience working withClaude(and similar frontier models) including understanding strengths limitations andappropriate usecases.

Agentic Software Development

oExperience designing or implementingagentic systems including:

Multistepreasoning and task decomposition

Toolcallingand execution orchestration

State memory and context management

Humanintheloopand guardrail patterns

oAbility to reasonaboutreliability failure modes retries and validation of autonomous behaviors.

Software Engineering Fundamentals

oStrongproficiencyin at least one modern programming language (e.g.Python TypeScript C#).

oSolid grounding in software design principles APIs version control testing practices and deployment pipelines.

oExperience integrating AI components intoreal enterprise systems not isolated prototypes.

Autonomy & Execution

oDemonstrated ability to work withminimal direction define technical paths forward and make sound decisions independently.

oTrack recordof owning outcomesendtoend: problem framing implementation delivery and iteration.

Communication
