Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff and trainees
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Anesthesiology preferred
Valid medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska
Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on anesthesia
Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Schedule: Occasional OR call 7a-3p or 7a-5p
General anesthesia caseload
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
