As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
- Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff and trainees
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Anesthesiology preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska
- Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on anesthesia
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Schedule: Occasional OR call 7a-3p or 7a-5p
General anesthesia caseload
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
