As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients ensuring their health and well-being. This position allows you to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare providers and contribute to a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in on-call duties as required
- Stay current with advancements in Ob/Gyn practices and treatments
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts per week
Weekday and weekend call shifts required
Annual Volume: 700 deliveries
Daily Volume: 20-25 patients
Team Structure: 2 MDs 1 NP
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
