Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interventions as required
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
- Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology and related medical practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in a clinical setting preferably in gastroenterology
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30a-4:30p
No call required
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Population: Adults
Support Staff: MD APPs endo/clinical manager and anesthesiologists
EMR: Cerner
Dictation: Dragon
Must be board-certified
