Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
Perform endoscopic procedures as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Educate patients and their families about health management
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology
Requirements
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology
Valid medical license to practice in the state
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Basic understanding of electronic health record systems
Schedule: 1-2 clinic days and 2-3 procedure days per week
Call rotation for the team
Covering multiple facilities
Clinical and administrative duties
Will oversee a team of 5 MDs and 2 APPs total
Daily Volume: 8-10 procedures or 18 patients in clinic
ERCP available
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
$600K annual base salary
