As a Gastroenterologist you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
- Perform endoscopic procedures as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients and their families about health management
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Basic understanding of electronic health record systems
Schedule: 1-2 clinic days and 2-3 procedure days per week
Call rotation for the team
Covering multiple facilities
Clinical and administrative duties
Will oversee a team of 5 MDs and 2 APPs total
Daily Volume: 8-10 procedures or 18 patients in clinic
ERCP available
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
$600K annual base salary
RVU incentives
$100K sign-on bonus
