Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housing and Residential Support Coordinator at Rediscovery Independent Living! We are an independent living program that houses young men and women ages 18 to 24 years old in small efficient-type apartments or shared living housing. Our program is designed to support the youth we serve as they become successful and productive community members.
The Housing and Residential Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring youth in independent living programs have access to safe and stable housing. This position encompasses various responsibilities including securing and coordinating housing placements collaborating with landlords planning move-in and move-out logistics and conducting ongoing unannounced residential safety checks. This role effectively merges housing placement landlord coordination and apartment safety checks.
Schedule: This position is full-time 32 hours per week.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In this role you will:
- Secure and coordinate housing for clients across regions.
- Conduct full safety inspections quarterly.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
- Perform weekly unannounced drop-ins for all apartments 2x week- with one of those drops being on a weekend evening.
- Monitor safety cleanliness and lease compliance.
- Communicate with landlords clients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bachelors degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Prior experience in a residential program or mental health program required.
- Knowledge of affordable housing/housing issues faced by people with youth in foster care.
- Must have experience working with specialized populations of adolescents required.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Able to work alone in an unsupervised environment.

- Must have an active drivers license.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
