Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Aircraft Technicians are an integral part of our Maintenance team. Their experience practical knowledge creativity and problem-solving skills will ensure that the aircraft are always maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status while providing a quality and safety supervisory role to the assigned technical team.
The primary duties includemaintainingthe operational statusof Top Acesfleet ofaircraft performing regular checks and maintenance diagnosing issues and repairing faulty equipmentas well as supporting the training and development of the technical staff.
TheAircraft Maintenance Technician hasa strong understanding ofaircraftmechanicsisdetail-oriented and able to handle the physical demands of the job.
The EASA B1.1 license aspect is essential to lead by example and provide the technical staff with a support.
Verify and certify that each maintenance action on companyaircraft including the embodimentofâmodificationsor repairs is certifiedin accordance withapproved specified or acceptable data asdefined in the Company MPM.â
Perform and certify requested maintenance within the scope of their company assigned authoritiesâIAW CAR 571 using the policy and procedures described in this manual.â
Ensure the workaccomplishedon anyaircraftorcomponentis in compliance with:â
Applicable airworthiness standards and OEM instructionsââ
Company Policies and Proceduresâ
Regulated safety standardsâ
Authorized Qualifications issued by Top Aces Aircraft Maintenance Organizationâ
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections ofaircraftas directed by the maintenance supervisorâ
Repair or replace parts such as brakes electrical systems and otheraircraftcomponentsâ
Testaircraftparts and systems using diagnostic equipment and approved company maintenance manualsââ
Configureaircraftmission systems and perform software updates
Execute calibration and ground performance testing ofaircraftmission systems
Interpret and use various test equipment and work from wiring diagrams blueprints and maintenance manuals
Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected eligible and properly certified prior to installation
Complete and certify work reports for all workaccomplishedon theaircraft
Follow company procedures as per the maintenance control manual using safe work practices
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
B1.1 Technician Supervisory Responsibilities:
The B1.1 Technician leads and supervises the allocated team of employees and is responsible for the workflow enforcing company policies while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The B1.1 Technician will lead and provide mentorship to the allocated personnel while coordinating tasks as determined by the maintenance priorities. Furthermoreduties include but are not limited tothe following:
Planningcoordinatingand executing daily workfor the team
Provide support for qualification trainingsignlogbooksand on job training forms
Ensuring safety and qualitypolicies andstandards are enforced
Ensuring administrative policies are enforced and managed (time control breaks)
Providing feedback to the baseleadinperformance assessment of individualsandassistsin the development of daily andlonger-term deployment plans
Perform Employee Performance reviews of assigned technicians
Asrequired;alternate tothe base leadas assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of five (5)yearsmaintenance experience within a military or commercial air operator environment
Experience in leading small aviation technical crew of 2-5persons.
Proventrack recordof success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgmentinitiativeand technical/specialized knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of the English language to read understand and interpret manualspoliciesand proceduresâ
Able to work well in a team and within a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values SERVICE INTEGRITY EXCELLENCE TOGETHERâ
