Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently across multiple settings including emergency trauma and operating room environments while ensuring high-quality patient care and imaging standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with proper positioning and technique
- Operate radiologic equipment and select appropriate imaging parameters
- Conduct portable X-ray exams in patient rooms OR and emergency settings
- Assist with contrast procedures and support physicians as needed
- Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment
- Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification (required)
- Active New Jersey Radiology License (required no pending accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- Experience in emergency trauma and operating room settings (required)
- Experience with portable imaging (required)
- Pediatric experience (required)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
