The Position
Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping value-driven healthcare solutions across South America
The Medical Value Lead defines and executes strategy across the South America Network (Argentina Uruguay Paraguay and Bolivia) ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities. The role fosters relationships with healthcare professionals scientific communities and reimbursement authorities to support strategic healthcare initiatives.
Key responsibilities include overseeing healthcare professional education programs investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and clinical/scientific meetings. The lead manages a multidisciplinary team across therapeutic areas (cardiometabolics oncology infectious diseases neurology) and reports to the Head of Healthcare Development.
This position requires strategic vision and operational expertise to drive results build high-performing teams and adapt to healthcare complexity while advancing value-driven solutions in the South American market.
The Opportunity
- Develop and manage the Medical Value plan aligned with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Identify evidence gaps and define evidence generation needs to support strategic goals.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with healthcare system decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Maintain and expand scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas including products in development and digital health solutions.
- Provide scientific expertise to support medical education advisory boards reimbursement dossiers and cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead scientific collaborations and value-based partnerships with thought leaders and healthcare system stakeholders.
- Oversee local clinical activities in compliance with regulatory organizational and procedural standards.
- Foster a customer-focused culture through tailored compliant communications that prioritize patient benefits and safety.
- Identify engage and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to leverage their expertise and insights.
- Share best practices internally and externally to drive innovation and enhance outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem.
Who you are
You hold an Advanced postgraduate degree in a relevant scientific field such as medicine genomics biology or related disciplines.
You have proven work experience in Medical Affairs Value-Based Healthcare and access-related roles within the healthcare industry.
You possess exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities to effectively navigate and lead within complex organizational structures.
You have demonstrated expertise in building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
You are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You have an in-depth understanding of healthcare systems with the ability to identify and address gaps and opportunities.
You possess a strong ethical mindset and a comprehensive understanding of compliance principles and regulations relevant to healthcare and medical affairs.
