Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Unit Director
Salt Lake City Utah Full Time No Weekends or Call Required

Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private freestanding 118-bed treatment center offering comprehensive services for the adult patient population. Programs address general psychiatric and dual diagnosis treatment needs including substance abuse and specialty programs for military personnel. The facility is conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from the SLC airport and downtown.

We are seeking an Adult General Psychiatrist to lead our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU).

Position Details:

Population: Inpatient general adult patients (moderate to moderate-high acuity)
Duties: Admissions discharges follow-ups documentation and treatment team leadership
Schedule: MondayFriday daytime hours only
No weekends or call required
Average caseload: 1315 patients per day
NP/PA collaboration highly preferred (up to two)
Optional involvement with Addiction/SUD and military populations

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
MD or DO from accredited program
Eligible for or licensed in Utah
Meets credentialing requirements
