Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for trauma and post-surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit
Care for spinal neuro trauma surgical trauma gunshot wound paraplegic and quadriplegic patient populations
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams during patient handoff and treatment planning
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience in trauma or high-acuity surgical settings
EPIC EMR experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and trauma care skills
Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
