Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for trauma and post-surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit
- Care for spinal neuro trauma surgical trauma gunshot wound paraplegic and quadriplegic patient populations
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams during patient handoff and treatment planning
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
- Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience in trauma or high-acuity surgical settings
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and trauma care skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
