We are currently conducting a search for a Director of Nursing (DON) on behalf of a national senior living operator in Seattle WA.

Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Seattle WA

Compensation: Up to$150000

Qualifications

Active RN license required
Director of Nursing Health Services Director or similar leadership experience preferred
Background in senior living skilled nursing home health hospice or related healthcare setting
Proven leadership experience managing teams and developing clinical staff
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hospitality-driven mindset
Ability to balance clinical oversight with hands-on leadership when needed
Experience with regulatory compliance and nurse delegation (Washington experience preferred)
Demonstrated success in building culture driving accountability and improving team performance

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical operations across Assisted Living and Memory Care
  Lead mentor and develop a team including LPNs caregivers and department leaders
  Ensure high standards of resident care safety and satisfaction
  Foster a culture of hospitality and service alongside clinical excellence
  Provide clinical guidance including wound care assessments and nurse delegation as needed
  Maintain compliance with all state regulations and company policies
  Partner closely with Executive Director and leadership team on overall community performance
  Support staffing scheduling and team stability in a competitive labor market
  Identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvements
  Act as a visible hands-on leader willing to step in and support the team when necessary
