As a Security Officer Guest Intake Desk in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Our Front Desk Officers serve as the first point of contact at a residential support location greeting visitors managing access monitoring activity from a stationary post and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. At Allied Universal you will bring clear communication reliability and integrity to every interaction while supporting a people-first culture built on teamwork and service.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures monitoring front desk activity and assisting residents visitors and staff with entry-related questions and directions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification maintaining visitor logs issuing passes or credentials as directed and reporting unusual activity through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Answer phones manage incoming inquiries document daily activity and security-related concerns and communicate important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and other concerning behavior through attentive observation at the front desk consistent application of post procedures and professional interaction with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
