Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Far Rockaway NY
Schedule: 40 hours/week 8-hour shifts 5 days/week
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift (hours may vary)
- 8-hour shifts
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Far Rockaway NY. This opportunity is ideal for local candidates looking for consistent full-time hours a structured schedule and the potential for overtime in a supportive healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care
- Monitor document and report any changes in patient condition
- Ensure patient comfort dignity and safety at all times
- Adhere to facility policies procedures and infection control standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of CNA experience in LTC or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
- Active New York CNA Certification (required)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Must reside within 2030 miles of the facility
- Ability to attend an in-person interview
