Job Summary

Responsible (and working in partnership with the Medical Director SCCN) for developing implementing and evaluating Seattle Childrens Care Network (SCCN) Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) strategy to grow from a 1 state network to a multi-state specialty network and to boldly move from episodic care to population health management providing leadership to manage and sustain daily provider network operations and to cultivate and engage the participating primary care pediatricians CUMG specialists practice managers key stakeholders and future sites-of care collaborators to actively participate in the SCCN accountable care network.

Partners with Strategy & Business Development and Finance to define and execute network strategy business plans and growth initiatives including and implementation and assessment of key operational components of SCCN including network administration Value Based Contracts (VBC) contract administration quality and care transformation and overall department administration (communication Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) staffing /space planning/ budget reporting) and other applicable regulatory and oversight requirements. Manage the network life cycle from start-up through the growth phase transforming it into a high-performing network capable that effectively manages defined populations in value-based payment (VBP) arrangements by integrating a standardized and managed organized systems of care (OSC).

The Executive Director SCCN is responsible for developing implementing evaluating and maintaining effective relationships with hospitals physician groups managed care organizations and payors and health systems intended to expand Seattle Childrens ability to deliver high-quality care to patients and families throughout the Pacific Northwest region. As a thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Leadership team plan evaluate and recommend new strategic business opportunities through partnerships new service and network development and innovative payment models across a multi-state region. Represent Seattle Childrens in discussions and relationships with external partners payors or clients and leads the development of new and existing business relationships including managed care narrow networks and other emerging care delivery models associated with health care reform.

Required Education and Experience
Masters degree in Business Health Care Administration or Public of twelve (12) years progressive management and/or director level experience; including leadership experience in a health care/clinical three (3) years experience overseeing/participating in program development and/or strategic in Joint Ventures Mergers and Health Care strategic planning experience and ability to lead in an environment of rapid change.

Preferred
Experience in a director-level leadership role of a multi-disciplinary multi-functional operations team in a research/academic healthcare in a research or academic leadership experience with Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CII) track record in managing physician practice .

Compensation Range

$249620.00 - $374430.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
