Position Overview
A leading rehabilitation hospital in the Clear Lake / Webster TX area is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment. This role focuses on inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab) supporting patients recovering from injury surgery or illness to regain mobility and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Improve patient mobility strength balance and functional independence
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Ensure high-quality patient-centered care delivery
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab) required
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
