Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) and related diagnostic imaging procedures. This role is responsible for producing high-quality cross-sectional images for clinical evaluation while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Operate and maintain advanced CT imaging equipment
Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to imaging protocols
Administer IV contrast in accordance with established competency guidelines
Apply radiation safety principles and maintain ALARA standards
Evaluate image quality and repeat scans as necessary
Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures when required
Deliver safe compassionate patient care using professional communication standards (AIDET)
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging procedures
Support general radiologic procedures as needed
Follow infection control and equipment sterilization protocols
Float between assigned facilities as required
Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
Ensure compliance with all hospital and departmental policies
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a CT Technologist
Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy
Experience with IV insertion and contrast administration preferred
Solid understanding of diagnostic radiology procedures
Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Flexibility to work night shifts and rotating assignments
Education
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
