Job Summary A local educational institution Center for Technical Education innovation located in Leominster is seeking a qualified Medical Assisting Vocational Teacher to deliver comprehensive instruction to high school students. Responsibilities

• Instructional Delivery: Teach medical assisting including curriculum development and hands-on training.
• Lab Supervision: Supervise students in laboratory settings ensuring safety and mastery of clinical skills.
• Student Mentorship: Provide academic and career guidance including teaching job-search strategies.
• Student Engagement: Use strong communication skills to guide students toward successful careers in healthcare.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

• Work Experience: Four years of full-time experience in medical assisting.
• Education: Associates degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification: Current national certification as a medical assistant or medical assistant/secretary.
• Licensure: Ability to obtain a Massachusetts Vocational Tech Teaching License through required exams and the MTEL literacy score.
