We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team.
What you bring to SBHG:
- Masters degree in a related social science field such as family/child counseling development psychology or social services are required.
- Must be a BBS-licensed LMFT LCSW LPCC PsyD or PhD.
- Four years of direct service experience with the mentally ill children adolescents and/or adults is preferred.
- Two years of post-licensure experience with the ability to provide clinical supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students is preferred. Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is also preferred.
- A valid California Drivers License and BLS CPR/First Aid certification are required.
How you will make a difference:
This position has primary responsibility for directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. Clinical Director may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. The Clinical Director acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position involves planning implementation monitoring and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Director represents the agency to county agencies and the community. The Clinical Director may meet with clients provide direct care and treatment and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Director is responsible for overall facility/program management. This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff ensuring services are in accordance with BBS standards and signs off on BBS hours.
Division/Program Overview:
- The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours
- Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention
- All age groups children adolescents adults and older adults who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
- The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization
