General Summary: The Director of Foster Care is responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight of all foster and kinship care programs in assigned region. This role is also responsible for providing leadership and supervision to foster care program role involves strategic planning staff supervision compliance monitoring and collaboration with various stakeholders to promote the well-being of children and families within the foster care Responsibilities:Program Leadership and OversightSupports the organizations mission goals and management decisions; promotes an empirical behavioral model in program services. Direct the daily operations of foster and kinship care programs within the assigned geographic with State Foster Care Leadership staff in developing implementing and monitoring operational processes ensuring efficiency and performance metrics service outcomes and compliance indicators working with VP of Clinical Operations Specialty Programs to adjust operational processes. Oversight of Recruitment and Licensing activities and work. Works with FC Compliance as a central point of contact for program services providing positive public relations for all programs. Supports Clinical Manager in providing clinical and administrative support to staff and providing and/or assisting with required clinical supervision. Assist in the Supports Foster Care and Kinship Supervisors. Overall responsibility for hiring developing retaining evaluating disciplining and discharging of program staff. Responsible for Program Deliverables and working with QM Department to ensure accurate for adherence to contractual obligations and communicating updates as necessary to staff and State on-call rotationRegulatory and Quality AssuranceWorks with the FC Compliance Manager and VP of Clinical Operations Specialty Program to ensure services align with state licensing requirements contractual obligations and organizational monitoring of safety and welfare of children in foster care homes. Manages complaints including resolution and follow up in collaboration with Intermountain Centers leadership team. Engages with foster parents as and Community EngagementDevelop and maintain professional relationships with families and staff and act as a liaison to external stakeholders. Participates in Management team meetings conferences and other agency-related activities as necessary. Conducts regular all staff meetings for program staff. Works with Administrative Departments (HR Training IT IS Finance Compliance and Clinical Integration) ensuring clear and effective communication in daily OversightParticipates in annual budget preparation with Executive Leadership and is accountable for programs adherence to annual budget agency purchasing and accounting an approved schedule and acceptable level of attendance. This position requires full-time onsite requirements. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position. Assist in designated staff performance evaluations and and ExperienceMinimum Education Required: Masters degree in a field related to Behavioral Health or Child Experience Required: Three years of management experience required. Overall experience of five years in the field of Behavioral Health Child Welfare or Foster Care experience required.
