You will:
Be the key contact for HSW across assigned groups and regions
Support risk and control management action plans and incident investigations
Implement HSW policies and standards
Deliver monthly performance reports and trend analysis
Engage with internal teams and external partners to strengthen HSW practices
Promote wellbeing programmes and initiatives across the organisation
Travel to project sites in your region to engage with local teams and be an advisor

Youllbring:
Subject matterexpertisein Health Safety and Wellbeing
Experience with HSW management systems and safety investigations
Experience in working with contractors and third parties
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to present at leadership meetings and influence decision-making
A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
Diploma or Certification in Health and Safety (or working towards it)
You willdemonstrateknowledge of or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of or a willingness to gain an appreciation of TeTiritio Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
