Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a hospital-based imaging department. The role involves producing high-quality cross-sectional images supporting diagnostic accuracy and ensuring excellent patient care using established imaging protocols and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and related diagnostic imaging procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
- Administer IV contrast and monitor patient response
- Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality
- Assist with general radiologic procedures as needed
- Provide patient-centered care using AIDET communication principles
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Float between imaging locations as needed
Requirements:
- ARRT certification with CT credential R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) (required)
- Prior CT experience (required)
- IV contrast administration competency (required)
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques
- Familiarity with Siemens Force and GE HD 750 scanners
