Position Overview
St. Vincents Medical Center in partnership with Southwest Family Health Center is seeking a Primary Care Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency Program clinic in Bridgeport Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician interested in teaching mentorship and academic medicine while maintaining a strong clinical focuswithout the responsibility of managing an independent patient panel.
Faculty physicians provide primary care exclusively in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians within a supportive academically rich environment.
Position Highlights
- 90% Clinical Precepting / 10% Administrative
- Approx. ½day per week protected admin time
- No independent patient panel - Clinical work is performed with residents only
- MondayFriday schedule No weekends
- No call
- Academic faculty appointment at the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter School of Medicine
Clinical Setting
- Residency continuity clinic located at Southwest Community Health Center
