Responsibilities
Peraton requires VTC Technicians to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3. This role is in Little Creek VA.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The AV/VTC Technician requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware software and network connections. VTC schedulers must have expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points as well as experience setting up maintaining and troubleshooting AV equipment (displays microphones sound boards etc.)
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install configure manage maintain operate and defend common area VTC equipment including day-to-day setup scheduling and monitoring
- Schedule coordinate and administer multiple simultaneous VTC sessions
- Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by Very Important Persons (VIPs)
- Recommend upgrades to VTC systems
- Provide version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs
- Install flat panel displays room based VTC endpoints projectors and A/V equipment
- Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box)
Manage maintain and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures - Schedule configure and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences
- Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS 8 years of experience OR MS 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience
- A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
- 2 year experience supporting and troubleshooting VTCs in Government environnment as well as troubleshootingand fixing VTC hardware and software (e.g. Cisco Polycom ViPers and secure phones).
- Ability to follow procedures under stressful conditions.
- Ability to work closely with senior professionals.

Target Salary Range
$80000 - $128000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
