Ultrasound Technologist, PRN

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Ultrasound Examinations: Perform sonographic examinations of various parts of the body including abdomen pelvis obstetrics and vascular systems.
• Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients address their concerns and ensure their comfort during the examination.
• Image Acquisition: Use specialized equipment to capture high-quality images ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Analyzing Images: Assess the images for quality and accuracy recognizing any abnormalities that may require further investigation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient records documenting procedures performed findings and any relevant patient history.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functions correctly reporting any issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree (or equivalent) in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field required.
• Experience and training in general ultrasound vascular and OB in the hospital setting preferred
• ARDMS Registered and/or ARRT Registry in Radiology

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $46.00 per hour depending on education and experience.
• Bonus: $10000
• Discretionary bonuses relocation expenses merit increase market adjustments recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

Additional Information:

• Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction CO 81505 before starting work.
• Work Location: In-person/onsite
