Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is Victorias peak water safety and lifesaving organisation built on the proud traditions and programs of our founding organisations the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia.
Lifesaving has been an integral part of the Victorian way of life since 1904. Today LSV is a multifaceted volunteer-based community organisation with a focus on public safety and community wellbeing.
Our volunteers members employees and partners work together with communities educational institutions government agencies businesses and the broader aquatic industry to Save lives and empower communities to safely enjoy water.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Content Producer (internally known as Lead Specialist - Creative Content Producer) to join our Marketing Media and Communications team at our Port Melbourne Head OfficeorCarrum Downs Office.Reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing Media and Communications this full-time role is pivotal in producing high-quality print and digital content that promotes LSVs purpose and vision. Importantly youll also play a key role in keeping LSVs website content current engaging and easy to find.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create impactful content: Develop and deliver high-quality graphic design video and photographic content for LSV projects ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal clients: Work closely with stakeholders to produce on-brand designs for digital and print products ensuring consistency across all corporate-branded materials.
- Website content management (CMS): Create edit and publish website content in LSVs CMS applying basic SEO and accessibility practices (e.g. headings links alt text captions where required) completing quality checks and using analytics to help improve content performance.
- Integrate communication campaigns: Liaise with business units to create cohesive campaigns across multiple platforms with a focus on social media assets print and web content.
- Maintain and manage LSVs digital asset library including photography video and marketing materials ensuring assets are organised accessible and up to date.
Who are you
Youre an experienced Creative Content Producer with a passion for delivering impactful creative services and your enthusiastic approachable and can-do attitude will drive your success in this role. Youre confident working across digital and print and you bring strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator) and other Creative Cloud tools. Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is well regarded along with demonstrated capability in graphic design and photography to produce high-quality publications and displays.
Just as importantly you have hands-on experience publishing and maintaining content in a website Content Management System (CMS) (e.g. WordPress Craft or similar). You understand what good web content looks like and you can apply fundamentals like metadata and image optimisation to improve findability. Youre comfortable using web analytics (e.g. GA4 or equivalent) to report on content performance and inform updates.
You possess practical knowledge across creative and digital tools enabling you to produce engaging content across platforms. Your proven ability to multitask and prioritise workloads ensures timely delivery of creative products while maintaining a keen eye for detail. With strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach you excel at understanding and meeting the needs of internal stakeholders and your experience in collaborative team environments allows you to adapt to shifting priorities.
