Onsite IT Technician

Job Summary
Working in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and hands-on support in Terneuzen.
We are looking for an extremely proactive person with a keen interest in technology who is able to make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.
In addition we are looking for a person with exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to build effective working relationships with both team members and business users and a flexible and committed approach to work.
- Install configure move and decommission end-user hardware
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to:
- Desktops and laptops
- Printers and scanners
- Other workplace devices
Software & Deployment
- Install configure and update software applications
- Manage software patches and updates using endpoint management tools (e.g. SCCM / Company Portal)
- Support standard system builds and configurations
Service Management (ServiceNow)
- Log track and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates of tickets
- Adhere to SLAs and maintain high-quality ticket hygiene
Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users
- Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Escalate complex issues appropriately
Project Support
- Assist in small-scale projects such as hardware refreshes and software rollouts
- Support testing of new systems or applications where required
- Strong knowledge of:
- End-user hardware and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office suite
- Endpoint management tools (SCCM / Intune / Company Portal)
- Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management
- Basic understanding of:
- Asset and device lifecycle management
- Active Directory (user/device level exposure preferred)
- Soft skills:
- Planning and organizing.

- Interest in technology.
- Language proficiency:
- Dutch: Excellent written and spoken proficiency - mandatory
- English: Upper-intermediate written and spoken proficiency - mandatory
- Working hours: 40 working hours per week
- Contract type: Temporary contract - 65 months with a possibility to extend
- Working setup (hybrid on site remote): 100% onsite
