Job Summary

The opportunity:
We are seeking an Entomology Analyst for our Pest Laboratory for a 5 month fixed term starting in June 2026 based in our Blockhouse Bay Laboratory.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. However candidates who have part time availability may also be considered.
The role will primarily involve screening sticky boards and dust samples from the dairy industry for critical pest arthropods processing and slide mounting of insects on import and export produce working at fast pace and dealing with high volumes.
Qualifications :
About You:
An eye for detail excellent manipulation skills and neat handwriting will be essential. You are able to learn new systems promptly and efficiently manage your time and prioritise work effectively to meet targets and deadlines. Excellent oral and written English communication skills will be important in this role along with a passion for quality delivering outstanding customer service in a commercial environment whilst being a team player.
